Description

A high quality, tough, butyl rubber sealant, ideal for jobs requiring a durable watertight seal.

Uses

1. Excellent sealant for use around window & door frames, in expansion joints, around concrete

foundations & on gutters & end caps.

2. Excellent sealant for sealing joints in sheet metal.

3. Filling and caulking joints in heating and air conditioning ducts.

4. Seals gutters and downspouts.

Surface Preparation

Surface must be clean & free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, mildew, wax, loose, paint & old caulking. Remove mildew by scrubbing with a solution of 4 oz TSP (Trisodium Phosphate), 1 quart of liquid bleach mixed with 3 quarts of warm water. Protect eyes & chemical resistant gloves.Thoroughly rinse surface before caulking & painting.

Directions

1. Clip off tip of spout @ a 45 degree angle to desired size.Puncture inner seal @ base of nozzle. Use only in a well-ventilated area.

2. Load cartridge into caulking gun & apply using stesdy, even pressure, to completely bridge joints.

3. Smooth caulk with a spoon or putty knife.

4. Clean up excess with mineral spirits or toluene before surface skins over

Clean Up

Mineral Spirits before cure(see solvent label for direction & cautions)

For Best Results

1. Appy only with excellent ventilation.

2. Store cartridge @ room temperature (72F to 77F) prior to use if application temperature is below 40F

3. Do not store or use around heat,open flame, etc.

4. Paint sealant after cure with a premium quality paint.

5. Do not use for filling butt joints, correcting surface defects or for tuck pointing.

6. Do not use for joints subject to heavy abrasion or wear.

7. Prime bare surfaces before caulking.
