Detailed Product Description

1. Description: KALI 8500 is one-component neutral curing construction silicone sealant with strong and durable adhesion, purposely designed for weather sealing in all type aluminum curtain wall and aluminum-plastics composite plate curtain wall etc. Its physical and chemical properties are stable in artificially accelerated weathering test. KALI 8500 is extruded from tube with sealant gun when used, and it absorbs the moisture in the air, then cures to elastomer capable of maintaining a seal effectively.

2. Characteristics: -- KALI 8500 belongs to RTV-1. good extrusion and thixotropy between 4⁰C ~+40⁰C. Easy to use; -- Strong adhesion to Aluminum and aluminum-plastics composite plate etc, without priming. -- Neutral curing, non-corrosive to metal, coated glass, concrete, marble, granite etc; -- Release low-molecular-weight alcohol and no unpleasant odor during cure. -- Excellent resistance to weather, UV, ozone, water; -- Excellent resistance to low and high temperature change. -- No fragility, rigidification or crack at -500C, and no softening, degradation at 150⁰C when cured. It always keeps good elasticity; -- Excellent adhesion to most common building material, without priming. -- Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.

3. Purpose: -- Weather sealing in all type Aluminum curtain wall joints and Aluminum-plastics composite plate curtain wall joints; -- Sealing in concrete, plastics and metal joints; -- Sealing in roof joints of constructions; -- Many other uses.

4. Application Standard: ASTM C920-01 5. Restriction of Usage: -- Cannot be used as structural sealant; -- Unsuitable for all kinds of material that can effuse grease, plasticizer or solvent; -- Unsuitable for the airproof location, because it is required to absorb moisture in air to cure for the sealant. -- Unsuitable for the frosty or moist surface. -- Unsuitable for the continually soggy or moist place. -- Cannot be used if the temperature is below 4⁰C or above 40⁰C on the surface of the materials.

Storage
Keep in dry place; dont unseal it before use; keep a storage temperature below 27^oC to prolong its service life; 12 moths guarantee

Packing Specification: 245ml / 280ml / 300ml / 310ml(net capacity) hard package (the actual weight is subject to final products); 30ml, 60ml, 90ml, 100ml with blister card;
